  • full house (For Parents)

Full House is a during the school year, once a month connection group of harborlife church for any parent of a child who has not graduated high school.

    Mission

To be a resource of community to help in building strong parents and families!

    Description

Our core is to provide an environment that gives parents social freedom with their peers away from the pressures of schooling, parenting and the everyday routine.

Whether you are a single parent or a couple with kids, you are invited. Once a month we meet to socialize, eat and be entertained while our children enjoy a fun night at the church. Harbor Life provides the children dinner and entertainment in a safe supervised environment. We vary this with family outings with the kids, by joining the families for a fun event every other month.

If you are a parent, come and connect with Full House each month. You deserve the break!

Contact Stephanie Middleton or Lisa Hill or visit our Facebook page at

www.facebook.com/connecttofullhouse for all upcoming Full House events and information.

  • ONE (FOR COUPLES)

    Are you 1? 1+1=1 The 2 shall become 1!

If there is a ring on your finger you are 1

Paul and Holly Schuler have been happily married for 32 years. We raised 3 sons and have 3 grandchildren. We are here to encourage and share experiences of marriage.

Marriage takes on new challenges every single day. Whether you are newly married or have been married for 50 years, there are always things to learn or renew.  We want your marriage to be the best it can be with God in the center of it.  We meet at our home on the 3rd Friday of each month from 7 pm to 8:30 pm.

The Schuler home is located at:

1597 Misty Plateau Trail Clearwater, Fl 33765 Our phone # 727-444-0144

Please be aware this is an adult only group. We welcome any new couples and hope you will come and see what we are all about. Light snacks and drinks are served each meeting.

  • EMPTY NESTERS (FOR parents WHOSE CHILDREN HAVE LEFT HOME)

Empty Nesters have fun & fellowship with each other by going out to eat once a month to different restaurants. Whether your children are grown or still live with you, it doesn’t matter. You have raised them up and now it’s time you get a chance to go out for a fun night. Our sign-up sheet is located in the foyer for each monthly activity. We simply ask all who are attending to sign up and let us know how many will be coming. This helps us to get a count when making a reservation. We thank you for doing that.

Come connect with us! We always have a lot of laughs and plenty of opportunity to get to know your fellow church members in a truly relaxed atmosphere.  Empty Nesters like to eat and that’s what we do! So bring your appetite and join us for our next calendar date.

Visit the church website at www.harborlifechurch.org for all calendar information.

We hope you can join us!

  • S.K.E.I.N.S.

SKEINS is your opportunity to gather and get to know a great group of friends. Meeting a couple of hours one Saturday a month, SKEINS aims to bring together anyone looking to create deeper relationships while having fun and fellowship. Whether you are able to join in every month, maybe every-other-month or once in a while, you are to certain to have a great time. From laughing while learning about “frogging” with “ribbits”, to praying together through hard times and rejoicing with each answered prayer; lives are enriched by the time spent with your SKEINS friends. You can create the “project of the month”, a crocheted item selected to help you grow your skills or get your creative juices flowing. Or bring along a project that you have been meaning to complete and we will cheer you on as you finish it!

While crafting, you are welcome to share in an out-reach project, Operation Gratitude. Each fall we send scarves to active military deployed overseas, our service men and women love to be remembered with their Care Boxes. No matter what the project, consider visiting SKEINS, and bring your friends and neighbors! SKEINS is a great avenue for introducing others to harborlife church. We look forward to seeing you at our next get-together; watch the announcements in your Bulletin for the next gathering date. You will want to join in the fun and will be glad you did!

For more information, please see Diane Shewbuirt.

Join us one Saturday a month at

The Shewbuirt Home * 213 Lotus Drive, Safety Harbor

  • r.a.d. (read, assess, dine)

R.A.D. stands for READ, ASSESS, and DINE. This group meets once a month usually on the first Thursday of each month. Each month a different member chooses either a topic, a theme, an author or a specific book that we all read during the month. (READ) When we gather together each person shares with the group about the book they read during the month. (ASSESS) As we are doing this, we are enjoying food and much fellowship together. (DINE)

R.A.D. connection group has been a part of harborlife church for four years. We love new members and welcome any woman to be part of this great time of connecting with other women as we take advantage of our gift of reading.
